This is a heavily modified re-issue of the old MPC Space:1999 Eagle model kit from the 1970’s. There aren’t a lot of parts on this model that weren’t altered or replaced in some fashion. The background and base were made from sheet styrene, and Moonbase Alpha was laser-cut from drawings by a friend who worked at an architectural model shop.
